Thank you for visiting and shopping at CavaBienBoutique. The following are the terms and conditions that formulate our Shipping Policy.

Shipment Processing Time

We ship directly from multiple warehouses as soon as the order is processed. 

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a couple of days. Therefore, please allow additional days in transit for delivery. In rare cases, if there will be a significant delay in the shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

Delivery delays can occasionally occur (natural disasters, pandemics, situations out of the seller’s control). 

 

Shipment Confirmation & Order tracking

A tracking number will be added to your order details as soon as they are available. You will be notified via email so that you can keep track of the delivery status every step of the way.

Important message about the worldwide COVID-19 situation:

On behalf of everyone at CavaBienBoutique our hearts go out to all those impacted by COVID-19. As always we are focused on the health and safety of our employees, and customers. We are a small family-owned business and we are shipping orders normally. Please be assured that as individuals we are all practicing social distancing, frequently washing our hands, frequently sanitizing our equipment, and making sure the products we ship are clean and safe.

Due to these security measures, which currently take place everywhere internationally at all companies, there may sometimes be delays in the delivery of our packages. We guarantee that you will receive your parcel – but if your parcel is affected by a delay, we kindly ask for your understanding.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

Value added tax (VAT) is applied to orders.

Low value goods tax
In some countries and regions, low-value goods tax is applied to shipments below the de minimis threshold. For example, the European Union has a low-value goods tax threshold, based on which value added tax (VAT) is charged on international orders with a maximum value of 150 euros. Orders under 150 euros are usually delivered without customs duties, ensuring faster delivery.

Note when placing an order with a value of more than 150 euros:

Import value added tax and customs duties are applied to orders with a value of more than 150 euros and which could delay delivery and incur additional costs.
CavaBienBoutique is not responsible for any customs, duties and/or taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

Consider splitting your order into multiple shipments with a value under 150 euros each to avoid customs procedures, delays for delivery and potential handling fees.

If a package/product/order is returned to us due to unpaid customs duties, taxes, or return to sender, we will refund max. 50% of the product cost, retain 50% as an additional service and handling fee, and keep the delivery or shipping charges.

Damages

If you receive damaged merchandise, please take a picture and email us the picture at info@cavabienboutique.com  right away. We will only replace damaged goods within 48 hours of receiving your order.

 

Summary: Prices & Taxes

Prices: 

The prices displayed on our website are in euros and include VAT applicable in the country of delivery within the European Union. However, these prices do not include any potential customs duties or other import value added taxes orders with a value exceeding 150 euros. 

Shipping Costs:

Shipping costs will be displayed separately in the customer’s shopping cart before final confirmation of the order.

Orders Delivered Outside the EU:

Prices include VAT at the rate applicable in Finland, but do not cover additional taxes or customs duties.

The customer is responsible for all taxes, customs duties, and any other charges related to the import of products, as required by the laws of the destination country.

Shipping costs to destinations outside the EU may differ from those indicated.
